It was close to down town
The pool area smelled like people take their dogs there to use it and the water needed cleaning. The room was hot the three days we were there. The people that fixed the breakfast were rude, didn’t use gloves to serve the food, and they kept arguing with each other.

We loved how convenient it was to the downtown area, especially since it can be hard to get around in a city you are not used to. The desk clerk was a hoot. Really enjoyed him. It is nice to see there are still nice people out there in a society where so many people can be rude. The breakfast was really good. I was nice to have something more than just donuts and coffee.

The location was perfect and the price was reasonable.
The lodgings need to be spruced up. The accommodations are older, worn and dirty.

Th Antonian is very close to Fort Sam Houston and is about a 5 to 10 minute drive from downtown San Antonio and the Riverwalk. It was a value for the price. There are also a couple of fast food places and 2 restaurants within walking distance (about a block).
The exercise room consists of a bowflex.

Nothing for all, except the microwave offered in my room. Also, the free parking. Otherwise, I didn't like it.

I thought that the daytime staff was very nice and friendly, I really enjoyed talking with Ramone ( the cook ) and had a nice cooked breakfast. The menu was not extensive, but was Plenty good for me and my family. I would not stay anywhere else if I should decide to go back to San Antonio again. the night time desk clerk was friendly as well, but not as outgoing as the day clerk
The pool was very small, but not a factor in my stay

Definitely a good value and good location right off the Interstate.
Somewhat of a rough neighborhood, but nothing out of the ordinary occurred

Staff was super friendly, good breakfast, great location, so close to downtown, yet far enough to leave the busy traffic behind...very comfortable beds, clean rooms...
It's an older building, and it needs some work/remodeling...also, the breakfast was very good, it was just limited portions per person...
